How depression strikes with no alert later becoming a tragedy

 Depression that word we through around so easily nowadays. It’s a struggling factor and there are ways to coup up with it, incase an issue arises since it is much more than a word can describe .

Its like a battle field where it slowly takes over a person’s life to a point where they may tend to forget where it all began. It is insidious creeping up over time .unnoticeable things change at first leading to bigger changes .Then just like that, that famous black cloud is overhead .

Depression is when you feel so low that things you previously enjoyed no longer hold that same joy. You may wonder what things people have that you may not get a hold of .Finding it hard to wake up therefore you end up dragging yourself out of bed in the morning and each day.The low is so low that it seems to take over, Overwhelming you in a way that you could not have imagined beforehand.

The effort of doing small things seem huge. The pressure of doing things is even bigger. It is always good to talk to someone when you find yourself in such a situation. But also how do you explain to someone that you want to live your life also you don’t know how you can ?

How do you explain that this no longer feels like a choice , that it controls you not the other way round 

Depression is a reaction to a life that you never imagined could be yours . A reaction to stress and seeming inability to change your situation . It is a deep anger of injustice and unfairness in life .

To anyone reading this can relate to all or some of what I have written , it is no good for me or anyone else to try and make you get help.  

One starts by accepting that depression is part of your life. Instead of wanting to feel okey own it up for yourself benefit . It is a counterproductive to keep pretending to be okay .

Secondly, allow yourself time needed to get through this ,it does take time there’s no magic cure . Slowly as it developed it can slowly get better. A better future starts by making changes now.

Thirdly, as impossible as it seems to do, you need to get help from somewhere be it a doctor who can rule out possibilities by conducting physical examination ,interviews and test .If the doctor eliminates a medical condition as a cause he / she can implement treatment or refer you to a mental health professional .A professional or that person that is always there trying to urge you out of this . They may not do it perfectly but you need to give it in have a choice to allow others to help .

Finally , I hope this gets easier for you that you find a way out of this and you get that sense of control back. Currently, Lots of people have been through depression and have come out of the other side successfully .
